USA STARS is an organization
dedicated to the positive development of American Olympic Hopefuls and
to the enrichment of child and youth development. The USA STARS
Foundation was created in 1992 to bring support and resources to the
future Olympians of this nation. The Foundation is dedicated to
increasing the effectiveness of the endeavors young athletes are making
in their quests to represent the USA in the Olympic Games. This is
accomplished by provision of expert coaching, established programs and
quality facilities. In addition to working with Olympic Hopefuls, the
Foundation has been instrumental in providing positive life-enhancing
programs to the youth of our community. The Foundation has successfully
meshed its endeavor to assist Olympic Hopefuls and its desire to work
with our community youth, thereby allowing multitudes of youth to
experience the Olympic Spirit. The USA STARS mission is two-fold; the
primary goal is to help America send its best athletes to the Olympic
Games. This is being accomplished by the Foundations established system
of recruiting, developing, and supporting Olympic Hopefuls. The second
goal is to work with the youth of our community. The Foundation provides
children, regardless of race, gender, economic standing, athletic
potential or ability, with quality sports training worthy of Olympic
Champions. By exposing our youth to the Olympic Spirit, their lives will
be forever improved.
We are located in Granite City IL just across the
bridge from St Louis MO in the new Rivers Edge development.
